His Excellency President Nana Akuffo Addo made a two-day visit to the Bono Region. During his address to the people, he made it known about the impending cutting of sod next week, to begin construction of 101 district hospitals in the country. The hospitals will be beneficial to improving healthcare delivery services for human survival and sustenance.
The president in his address also encouraged the people to continue adhering the all Covid-19 protocols. He added that, about 20 million Ghanaians would be vaccinated by the close of the year to prevent the spread of the disease.
Daasebre Amankona Diawuo III, the Paramount Chief of Berekum Traditional Area, indicated that Berekum had equally benefited from the national cake under President Akuffo Addo’s government, but the Municipality needs more development projects. he also appealed to the government to facilitate the establishment of a university in the area and assured that the people of Berekum would continue to support the President to achieve his vision for the nation.
