Some armed robbers were attacking some traders on the Abromase road, near Yeji in the Pru East District of the Bono East Region and had one man killed in the process.
Mr Mahamudu who was popularly known as Dede was on his way to Yeji for his daily marketing activities late on the night of the robbery incident.
According to reports, the deceased Dede, run into the scene unknowingly.” his motorbike was having no light so he was using his mobile phone’s light for direction which led to him not seeing the armed robbers in time.”
“At the time he saw them, it was obviously too late for him to take any action, a gun was pointed at him and the next thing I heard was a gunshot. He was shot right in the face.” one reporter added.
As it stands now, the body of the deceased has been deposited at Yeji Mathias Hospital for investigations.
