Ghana’s tourist site is one of the fabulous attractive places that one would not like to miss. Can one imagine how this December is going to be in Ghana?
The country expects 150,000 tourists arrival between now and December this year announced by the Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Dr. Ibrahim Mohammed Awal.
Dr. Ibrahim Awal noticed that the tourism sector was gradually recovering from the devastating impact from the Covid 19 pandemic, where the sector lost over GH₵8billion as part of earning over the last one and a half year.
December in Gh is a tourism product launched by the Ghana Tourism Authority GTA to get people back to Ghana during the festive seasons
Dr. Awal, speaking at a press briefing orgainzed by GTA to update the media with the activities that would be put in place to host this year’s “December in Gh” and also to celebrate “Beyound The Return”
He also mentioned that the National Gallery Museum that has been closed for over 8yeras now would be opened for visitors.
Dr. Ibrahim Awal stressed that, the Covid 19 protocols would not be compromise. The covid 19 task force together with the police would work hanh in hand. Visitors coming to the country would take the PCR test for covid 19
“We are working under the auspices of the Tourism Ministry to ensure protocols are strictly observed,” Mr Agyeman stressed.
