The Flesh like flowers will wither
For, “All flesh is like grass , And all its glory like the flower of grass . The grass withers And the flower falls off ,

Praise be to God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.
The preceding verses to today’s scripture confirms that we get born again by receiving the living and everlasting WORD of God. This is what leads to eternal life through our spiritual living.
Living by the flesh is therefore temporary and is compared to the grass and flowers that wither with time. It becomes very glorious but does not last for long. That is the way living by the flesh may seem “pleasant” but the end of it is destruction.
May our focus be on eternal life in Christ Jesus and therefore live according to the Word of God which endures forever. May we desire Christ daily till His coming in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.
