Three persons have lost their lives to coronavirus in the latest update released by the Ghana Health Service (GHS) on Sunday, June 14.
The three died in the Greater Accra Region, which leads the regional infections with almost 7,000 cases.
They are an 82-year-old man who had hypertension, a 31-year-old man who had diabetes and hypertension and a 66-year-old man who had diabetes, hypertension and a chronic kidney disease.
This brings to 51 the total number of fatalities since the outbreak of the viral disease in the country.
There are three patients left on ventilators as the “critical” and “severe” cases reduce to 19.
The total case count is now 11,422 with 4,156 recoveries, leaving 7,215 cases under treatment.
Aside the Greater Accra Region, the Ashanti Region has its cases pass 2,000.
