The New Patriotic Party (NPP) MP for Assin Central, Mr Kennedy Agyapong has stated that he has the gut to speak on a lot of issues in the country and beyond because he doesn’t worship money.
The very successful businessman, in an interview with Dentaa Amoabeng explained that although having money gives you the ability to say and do a lot of things, only those who are not afraid of loosing their money are able to do so. The threat by the MP to punish journalist has made people to recall that, Hon. Agyapong issued similar threats against Ahmed Hussein-Suale, who at the time had undertaken some journalistic works; Ahmed Hussein-Suale was later horribly killed”
The Multimedia Group has filed a formal complaint at the Police CID seeking protection for its journalist, Erastus Asare Donkor following threats issued by Assin Central MP, Kennedy Agyapong. The company also wants the police to investigate the matter
