The Bank of Ghana has assured the general public that all financial institutions including, banks, savings and loans among others will operate despite the restriction of movements announced by the president.
It has therefore advised against panic withdrawals and observe all health and safety protocols put in place by the financial institutions.
Secretary of the central bank, Sandra Thompson in a statement reiterated the need for financial institutions to observe all health and safety protocols as advised by the government.
