Musician Samuel Adu Frimpong popularly known as Medikal was surprisingly arrested after Shatta Wale’s remand yesterday, 21st October, and handed over to the Regional Criminal Investigations Department for investigations when he was in court to offer support to Shatta.
His arrest is a result of a video posted on Snapchat displaying a Ruger 9mm pistol on September 26, 2021.
He has been remanded for five days before the court after investigations and charges.

Prosecution’s BRIEF FACTS:
The accused person is a popular musician. In the month of September,
2021, whilst in his car, the accused displayed a Ruger 9mm pistol without any reasonable excuse and posted the video on his Snapchat social media platform on 26/9/2021. The video of the weapon he displayed on Snapchat went viral and Adomonline published the same on 21/10/2021. The Police, acting on intelligence, arrested the accused and handed him to the Regional Criminal Investigations Department for investigation. The accused admitted the offense in his investigation caution statement. After investigation, the accused was charged with the offense and arraigned before the Court.
