During the ‘Good Morning Ghana Show’ on Metro TV hosted by Rnady Abbey, Kweku Baabo was asked a question which sparked a heated reaction by Sammy Gyamfi, the national communications officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC). The controversy was on why the finance minister Ken Offori-Atta had expenditure about Free SHS but no expenditure on Office of Government Machinery on the rent of luxurious jet
Sammy Gyamfi mentioned that, Ken Ofori Atta gave Fellow Ghanaians a dodgy and dishonest answer to Parliament on the cost of President Akufo-Addo’s recent trip to Europe in a chartered luxurious private jet. He also added that, they will support and work collectively with Kissi Agyabeng as the Special Prosecutor if he “should prove Martin Amidu wrong for saying he (Kissi) is a puppet of Gabby and co by being independent and prosecuting them”.
