Seven dead and more than a dozen been injured at the Shia mosque as an explosion hits the Southern city during the Friday prayers.
The explosion took place on Friday at the largest mosque for Shia worshippers in the Bibi Fatima mosque
According to an eyewitness, he heard three blasts one at the main door of the mosque, another at the Southern sector, and the third at where the worshippers wash themselves.
A former member of the provincial said 7 members and 13wounded has been taken from the blast site.
This incident took place a week after a dozen of people were killed and more than 100 others wounded when a mosque at the Northern province of Kunduz was targeted in an ISIL-K claimed to bomb.
The spokesman of the Taliban Bilal Karimi confirmed the explosion and said the investigation was underway without providing any details
The Taliban-led government promised a quick response and to hold the perpetrators of the Kunduz attack responsible
