Medikal and Shatta Wale together with his accomplices have been granted a bail of Gh 100,000 each after reappearing before the Accra Circuit Court today, October 26.
Shatta Wale appeared before the Court on October, 19 where he was charged with publishing false news and causing fear and panic, yet he pleaded not guilty to charges. However, he was remanded for 7 days in police custody. His accomplices, Idris Yusif, Kojo Owusu Koranteng, and Eric Venator were also charged with abetment of crime.
While Shatta was granted a bail of self-recognizance, his accomplices were granted a bail with surety each.
Nevertheless, the case has been adjourned to November 9, 2021.
Medikal on the other hand, on October 22 was charged with the unlawful display of arms, where he was remanded for 5 days in police custody though he pleaded not guilty to charges.
