Ones again Akufo Addo’s led administration has under another attack for taken the initiative to build a national cathedral in the Country. Popular Ghanaian Satirist, actor and talk show host Kwaku Sintim Misa appears not to see the need for such temple as many Ghanaians are still wallowing in poverty.
Speaking in an interview with Nkokonsa, KSM disclosed that building a cathedral is a misplaced priority since Ghanaians are living in filth and poverty.
KSM who has recently been castigating the government quizzed if building the cathedral will bring down God to come and live in it.
“Just imagine Ghana,with all respects wanting to build a cathedral of how many millions of dollars?Why? Does God live in that cathedral?I would take you to places in Accra here where you would see the filth and poverty that people are living in” KSM told Nkonkonsa.
KSM advised that such huge funds that will be used to build the cathedral should be channelled into developmental projects that will benefit citizens more.
