Four AAYALOLO buses parked at the Oforikrom STC terminal have burnt beyond repair.
The incident occurred around 10:20, Wednesday evening.
The fire is said to have started from one of the buses before spreading to the other three.
But for the swift intervention of the Ghana National Fire Service, more buses would’ve been in flames.
“The call did not come on time so when we got there, the four buses were already in flames. We had to ensure that, the fire does not spread to the other buses closed to the burnt ones” ADO 1 Nyemi-Tei indicated.
The cause of the fire is yet to be established but investigations have commenced to unravel the exact cause.
