The Ghana Football Association (GFA) on Monday said that it has commenced virtual engagements with its various members following the two-week extension of the ban on public and social gatherings, including sporting activities, amid the COVID-19 pandemic in Ghana.

GFA president Kurt Okraku and the executive council will use the opportunity to update members on the impact of COVID-19, other football issues, and the way forward for the association.

Representatives of the various competitions, through their management committees, are expected to meet the executive council and the secretariat for deliberation, according to a release by the GFA.

All the meetings will be held via zoom. The Ghanaian FA has been running campaigns across platforms to create awareness since the first coronavirus case was reported in Ghana. It has also suspended all football competitions as a precautionary measure. Enditem
