New figures for the covid-19 cases in Ghana have spiraled with case count now pegged at 5,638, Ghana Health Service says.
At least 108 new cases within the last 48 hours have been recorded, with four more fatalities adding up to bring the total number of deaths to 28.
Ghana has seen a leap in the number of recoveries.
About 786 recoveries have recorded bringing the total to 1,460.
An update on the Ghana Health Service website indicates that 44 of the 108 new cases were recorded in Accra, 26 in the Western Region, 16 in the Central Region and 12 from the Northern Region.
