It has emerged that the death of late Ghanaian highlife musician Nana Tuffour was predicted in February 2020 by afropop act turned gospel musician, Nii soul.

The former secular musician who came into the spotlight after successful appearances in “Mentor” and “Project fame” reality shows said he switched to gospel music because secular music does not glorify God and is evil.

He has since been a staunch member of the Synangogue Church of all nations and evangelising.

In February, he put a post on Facebook calling for many to intercede on behalf of a popular highlife musician who was bound to lose his life in the course of the year.

”Please, let’s pray for our Highlife legends (name withheld out of respect for him and his family) else we will lose one of them this. God reveals to redeem. The essence of revelation is for redemption. It doesn’t have to come to pass so we say “I told you so” but so that, the devil’s plans will not come to pass. I have prayed and I want you to join me in prayers. God bless you all,” he wrote on Facebook in February 2020.

Though he wouldn’t mention the name of the said musician at the time, Nii Soul took to whatsapp to broadcast his prediction moments after it was announced that the “Abeiku” hitmaker, Nana Tuffour, had died.

The legendary singer is said to have died in his home Monday morning after suffering a short illness. His remains have since been deposited at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital mortuary, information available to wenomedia.com suggest
