JUSTIFICATION

Morning Devotion

“He that spared not his own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with him also freely give us all things? Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.”
( ROMANS 8: 32-34)

The process of granting sinful man the right standing before God on the basis of the work of Christ is known as justification.

The work of salvation was so dear to the heart of God that He did not spare His only Son Jesus Christ, but He gave Him up as a ransom to fulfill the requirements for man’s salvation, and establish freedom for many as would express faith in the work of the cross.

Based on the work of justification, the charges, accusations and condemnation of Satan and his cohorts against the child of God was rendered null and void. Legally, Satan has no locus against a man who has expressed faith in the saving work of Christ. The slogan for the justified is “No charges, no accusations, no condemnation”.

Romans 5:1-2 read:

“Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.”

As a result of the operation of justification:

Peace has been established between God and man.

Man has become a beneficiary of the grace of God, wherein He stands.

Man can hope in the revelation of the glory of God in his life.

Through the power of justification, there is no charge against the elect of God.
