Soon and very soon, drivers might say ‘goodbye’ to the usage of keys in turning on and off their car ignition if Kantanka Automobile’s latest invention is rolled out.

CEO of the local car assembling company, Kwadwo Safo Jnr took to his Twitter handle to disclose that they’re working on a fingerprint Start and Stop ignition system to be used by their cars.

“Things to watch out for at the 40th Tech expo in December . Finger print START and STOP ignition“, he tweeted.

From the video he shared, drivers would use their fingerprint to start and stop a car. The instructor who was giving details of the new technology said the keys would be available anyway but they’ll be used in locking and unlocking the car doors.

The new technology also comes with a special feature which is if passengers and driver do not wear seat belt, the car would not function. Kwadwo Safo revealed that this new technology would be officially unveiled at this year’s Tech expo in December where genious from all walks of life display their inventions.
