“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good report. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.”
(HEBREWS 11:1-3)
The recordings of HEBREWS 11, point to how mortal men can partner the immortal God for the roll out of the purposes of God on earth.
HEBREWS defined faith as ” the substance of things hoped for, and the evidence of things not seen”.
In other words, faith is a heart felt reality of that which is yet to manifest. It is today’s firm grip of tomorrow’s realities.
We are told that, “by faith, the elders obtained a good report”.
Take a note that as we live each day, records of our lives are being documented.
What must matter to us, is whether the records of our lives meet standards that merit recording in the annals of God.
The believer has been endowed with the capacity to operate in the supernatural through the Holy Spirit who resides in him.
Through faith, men are able to come to the place of appreciation of divine operations. They understand the fact that out of nothing, God brought all things into being. This understanding is what positions man to operate the same power God demonstrated during the creation of the world.
May we be inspired to also live by faith, in order to positively impact the world and have our records captured in the annals of God.
