Today the world celebrates Labour Day in silence. The usual pageantry that goes with it is missing because of Covid-19.
As Ghana celebrates her heroes on virtual media, the gallant gentlemen from The School, Mfantsipim, will not sit unconcern as their brother, Dr. Christian Owoo, and his team battle the Covid-19 pandemic. The MOBA’93 Family gentlemen immediately mobilized PPEs, Patient Care Items and other assorted items amounting to Ghc 20,000 to support their classmate, who also happens to be the Head of ICU, Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital.
At 2pm, 1st May 2020, the Very Rev, Dr. Samuel Dua Dodd led a delegation of MOBA’93 Family members to the UGMC ICU to do the donation.
These Seniors are David Annoh-Quarshie, Samuel Abam Moncar, Gabriel Dosoo, Elorm Ashiagbor and Isaac Frimpong.
They presented the items to the University of Ghana Medical Center ICU and the Ga East Municipal Hospital ICU. These two Covid-19 treatment facilities ICUs are under the supervision of Dr. Christian Owoo and his team.
The team then prayed for the front line workers and assured them of MOBA’93 support anytime the need arises.
