Applications are invited for the position of a Social Health Work at the Juabo Assemblies Child Development Center in the Amenfi Central area.
JOB TITLE: Social Health Worker
REPORT DIRECTLY TO: Project Director
0.1 PURPOSE
- To implement and coordinate activities that will promote Health and Social wellbeing of children and other day-to-day project activities.
0.2 DUTIES Includes;
- Ensures active participation of beneficiaries in project activities by conducting home and school visits
- Writes quality letters to sponsors of beneficiaries according to schedule and Program Field Manual (PFM) standards.
- Conducts annual beneficiary assessment – Child Development Progress Report (CDPR) and input data into available tools /systems
- Assist with the teaching and implementation of the Compassion National Curriculum and other learning tools and materials for the project
- Performs any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
0.3 EXTERNAL RELATIONS
- Collaborates and networks with likeminded organizations /institutions to achieve beneficiary and partner outcomes
0.4 EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
- Minimum of a university degree from a recognized institution, preferably social science/work
Experience in health-related practices will be an advantage
0.5 COMPETENCIES
