Information reaching us indicate that West Africa Examination Council would cancel entire 2020 WASSCE papers of some Schools if indeed exams malpractice took place in those schools.
The institution has, however launched an investigation into the allegations that some schools have reportedly engaged in such act.
According to the report gathered, sub-regional examination body-WAEC in the Ashanti Region has stated that some teachers and schools have been implicated in cheating in the ongoing exam.
Speaking on the issue according to thriller news, the Regional Director of WAEC, Mr. Divine Worlanyo Agbenyo told the media that those schools earmarked stand the risk of having their entire paper cancelled if found culpable.
When we are writing the exams and we have irregular activities before and after the exams, all these are punishable. Such of the punishment are that you can have the entire result of the paper cancelled. Hence, it is incumbent for parents to encourage their wards to study hard and not rely on cheating in an exams, so that they earn a certificate that they can defend, stressed.
