West Ham reject £5m bid for striker Jordan Hugill from Norwich City

Articles Sports

Hugill has returned to the second-tier for the last two seasons, spending a year at Middlesbrough and then the recently-finished season on loan at QPR, ending a successful campaign with 15 goals in 41 appearances.

The Englishman has two years left on his contract on around £35,000 a week.

Hugill has interest from other Championship clubs but wages have been a stumbling block.

Manager David Moyes needs to sell players before he can buy and they will listen to offers for the likes of Felipe Anderson, Manuel Lanzini, Fabian Balbuena, Ryan Fredericks, Arthur Masuaku and Jack Wilshere.
