Politics

Mr. Koku Anyidoho, former deputy General Secretary of the NDC has been expelled on grounds of indiscipline. For sometime now, he has been acting absurdly against the party and it’s presidential candidate, former President John Dramani Mahama. The party explained to the public that Koku breached article 48(1)(9)(a) of its constitution. In Feburary 9 2021, the party suspended him and carried out investigations.

Following this, he has over this short period had verbal clashes with party faithfuls on and off media platforms. After five months of investigation, the party found Koku guilty on the charges leveled against him. These were on counts of misconduct and anti-party behavior in relation to the article of the party’s constitution.

The party has however released a letter, addressed to Mr. Anyidoho, informing his expulsion from the party. The letter is dated 27th August,2021 and signed by the secretary of the National Democratic Congress, Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketia.
