Finance Minister Ken Ofori Atta is expected to present the government’s budget statement for the first quarter of the 2021 fiscal year today.
The Minister is expected to give parliament an idea of how the government intends to revive the economy which has been hard hit by COVID-19.
The budget statement to be presented by the Minister today will be expected to be implemented on case this government is maintained.
It will as well be expected to present the rest of the budget to cover the entire year.
Meanwhile, the leader of the National Democratic Congress John Mahama has accused the Finance Minister of cooking figures to make the government look good.
