LEGON CITIES VS HEARTS OF OAK

Accra-based Legon Cities are in 12th place in the league table after a three-game unbeaten streak. With the second round of matches about to begin, the Royals will be hoping to secure a mid-table finish in the league at the end of the season. Coach Maxwell Konadu should be concerned about their inconsistency since his team won just two games at home in the first round. Their next opponents, who need no introduction, as they seek points to rise up in the league table, Accra Hearts of Oak, will be out for the kill when they come up against Legon Cities on Match Day 18.

The Super Clash was thrilling, exciting, and only one thing was missing: goals!!! Hearts and Kotoko put on a great show for us, but they lacked the finishing touch to convert their chances into goals. The defending champions have a long way to go to close the gap with their fiercest rivals. It all starts with the Accra City derby, in which the Phobians will be vying for bragging rights and all three points on offer. The first round match between the two teams finished in a goalless draw.

With so much more on the line this time, we expect players like Kofi Kordzie and Daniel Barnieh to score a goal or two.
