Sam’uun Larhan, a 15-year-old student of the Konongo Odumase Senior High School was stabbed to death by his fellow colleagues during a night bulling spree.
According to the Ghana Police five Students who are also students of the school in form two, gang up to bully the first-year students after prep hours in their dormitory which led to the death of the deceased.
Some of the first years who believe the bully was uncalled-for opposed and were able to save one particular student from the hand of these five student suspects. This aggravated the five suspects and lead one of the suspects named Emmanuel Frimpong to rush in an attempt to slap one of the students.
However, he was stopped by the deceased Sam’uum Larhan who was close to him. This made him more furious that he drew out a small kitchen knife he concealed during the operation and stabbed him in the left rib. The deceased started bleeding profusely and was rushed to the Konongo Odumase Government Hospital but he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
As these five students are going to be arraigned in court today, the family of the deceased seeks that justice is served even though they have admitted to committing the act.
They want the relevant authorities to ensure that all people involved in the matter be dealt with accordingly as the law demands.
“We only want justice,” they said.
