On Monday 11th October 2021, two boys from the Central Region named Yaw Mensah and Yaw Acquah has been knocked down by a bus on the Yamoransa-Abura Dunkwa road. These boys together with a third victim were cycling towards Batanyaa on the Yamoransa- Abura Dunkwa road when they were knocked down by a bus.
According to an eyewitness the bus has a registration number ‘GE-7915-19′ and the boys were left on the floor for some minutes before being attended to by a private driver who was also attracted by the ringing tone of a phone belonging to one of the deceased.
The third victim who is reported to be battling for his life with the other two boys were left on the roadside in a pool of blood. The boys were taken to Abura Dunkwa Government Hospital and later being transferred to Cape Coast Teaching Hospital where the two boys were pronounced dead. Their bodies have been deposited at the Cape Coast Hospital mortuary while the injured victim was said to be receiving treatment.
