THE MERCIES OF GOD

Morning Devotion

“Have mercy on me, O God, according to Your lovingkindness; According to the greatness of Your compassion blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my wickedness and guilt And cleanse me from my sin.
(PSALMS 51:1‭-‬2 AMP)

Have mercy on me O God! This is the prayer of King David when he sinned with Bathsheba and Prophet Nathan confronted him. The mercies of God are new and available to us everyday but do we ask for it?

To follow King David’s example is to ask God for forgiveness and let His rich mercies be released for our sake, but for the mercies of God, we would have been facing God’s wrath anytime we go against God’s way.

We should lift up prayer to the almighty God to apply His great compassion and blot out our transgressions and wash us thoroughly from any wickedness and guilt.

“It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.”
(Lamentations 3:22‭-‬23 KJV)

May you and your loved ones be delivered from the ragging attack of CORONA Virus by the Mercies of God.

SHALOM.
